| Alex found the perfect spot for our square foot garden. Little did I know we would have to remove the bird feeder pronto to keep the birds away. Its fun to feed em in the winter; its not fun when they feed on your garden! |

| Alex finally decided to help out. Mommy started to remove the weeds inside the bed. The whole backyard is weeds! There used to be a pool but the previous owner filled it with sand....we didn't know that when we bought home. |

| We had some left over weed barrier fabric so I lined the bottom. The first batch of soil is from my compost heap in the corner of the yard. I was too busy (or lazy) to build a super duper compost bin. |

| Ta Da! The first bin is filled with a mixture of Bricko Farm's soil, vermiculite, & peat moss. I put up the bird feeder not realizing it would attract more squirrels than birds. |
